First, I didn't know about The UK because I was not interested in the UK. I know that there has long history and they important their history. There are historical school, building and culture. So people from all over the world visit there. That is to study, work and sightseeing. If you research there, you get something deeply history.
I absent the class so I wrote the blog lately. I reflect that things.

The minority language of the UK
Welsh is one of the minority languages which is spoken in Wales.
When you visit Weals in the southwest of England, you will look other language.These are Welsh. This is VSO type language. It precudes to verbs in subjects.
Wales was once under the imperial control of the Roman Empire and Anglo-Saxon. And there was stepping annexation of England. In 1282, Prince of Wales who is the last king of Welsh was killed, finally the annexation law was promulgated in 1536. After that, people who can not speak English can't take the public works. And English got social prestige. On the other hand, the chapel tryed to keeping Welsh but people who speak Welsh daily is about harf and it decreases steadily. The people who speak Welsh were under 20% in 1980 but the number of children who can speak Welsh was increasing in 1970s. Now a lot of children go to Welsh school and the bilingual in English and Welsh school.

Universities in UK
Universities in England have more than 900 years history. Oxford University and Cambridge University are very famous but there are many old universities. And there are "new universities". These are specialty universities. The schools has a lot of courses. For example, art, English literature, drama, medical science and more. The campus is surrounded by mountain and the historical building and there are vast extent of country. Also there are in the city.
Cost
Cost is different by the university.

The cost is included material in the library, the newest computer room, good sports facility, music room and studio.
For Japanese who want to go abroad to the UK
A lot of universities in UK offer the summer course. It has English, business English, cultures including the UK culture, history and international relations courses. You can take the summer course minimum 2 week. And you can only stay with a family but also stay in the domitory. And almost the course includes extracurricular activities, outing and activities so you can go sightseeing.

Recently
Students from Charles Edward Brooke Church of England Girls’ School in Camberwell have been out and about spreading Christmas cheer in the local community.
On 15 th December 2009 year 8 students visited Living center, End day center and primary school. The students acted the drama,played dance and play music. They made them happy.

Social class in England
The UK has social class. They read diffrent news paper, TV showand they speak diffrent English. I'll introduce about dieerence between upper and middle and working class.
Upper Class
A landowner, the nobility, a wealthy person who take a leading part in finance
They employ a child care nurse. They have played riding a horse since they were children.
They have a large plot of ground and they speak queen English. They wear clean.
They like hunting, an overseas trip, playing tennis and play golf.
Middle Class
Member of the Diet, manager, teacher, police, writer, and bank cleark
They look rich for Japanese.Their big deam is to have house, and they like older house. They want to secure for position of near the upper class. The culture is classic music and ballet.
They speak English that is used BBC.
Working Class
Electrical engineer, bus driver, waiter, cook and cleaner
They speak non clean English as dialect. They like football also drink beer.
